MATTERS OF PUBLIC NOTICE and ANNUAL REPORTING:

 The duly appointed, current Trustees of the Green Cemetery (T/U/W) (CA-323), which is located at 500 Tanyard Road in Deptford Township, NJ 08096; do hereby make the following legal notifications:

1) Financial Statements: the unaudited financial statements of the cemetery are filed with the Surrogate’s Court of Gloucester County New Jersey, as required per the Terms of the 2nd Codicil of the Will of Dr. Lewis M. Green (founder of the cemetery) to wit:

“Item Third. Being desirous of providing for the successful Establishment and maintenance of "Green Cemetery" ….

Sixth. I do hereby order and direct, … Said Trustees shall keep proper and accurate accounts of all Receipts and Expenditures and an account of all Sales of Lots and Burial Lots and Burial Rights and file the same with the Court of Common Pleas annually for approval.”

2) The Annual Maintenance and Presentative Report (“M&P”) is filed on or before 1/May with the New Jersey Cemetery Board (per N.J.S.A 45:27-15) and is available for public distribution.

3) Form 990 - Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax; is filed with the Internal Revenue Service of the U.S. Treasury Department and available for inspection from the IRS website.

4) Per the requirements of N.J.S.A 45:27-10 (b), the Annual Meeting of the Green Cemetery is held at the facility, public notice have been given (see link below).
