Henry Lysholm
Norwegian born Henry Lysholm was a remarkable and gifted engineer who - having emigrating to America - greatly assisted the American shipbuilding in Camden, NJ during The Great War (WW1). He invented the “Lysholm Drill Press” (named in his honor) which both simplified and accelerated ship construction during wartime.
While residing in New Jersey, Lysholm and his wife (Maren) had four children (all US Citizens). After Lysholm ‘s death in 1919 (due to the Great Pandemic 1918-19), Maren Lysholm returned to her family in Norway. Prior to the outset of WW2, the children returned to America.
